DAVID and Victoria Beckham missed son Romeo’s 17th birthday party — and got a group of nannies to host it instead.
The couple skipped the trendy pizza restaurant do where child care experts took over the parental duties.
Romeo’s brothers Brooklyn, 20, and Cruz, 14, were there along with his sister Harper, eight, who presented him with the cake in their mum and dad’s absence on Friday.
The trio and around seven guests joined in a verse of Happy Birthday to aspiring tennis player Romeo at a branch of Homeslice in White City, West London.
An onlooker said: “David and Victoria present a perfect life on Instagram, constantly gushing about their kids, but they weren’t at Romeo’s party. Four nannies did all the legwork but the kids didn’t seem to mind as the pizza came thick and fast.”
On Sunday, Romeo’s actual 17th, Victoria posted snaps of a family birthday lunch while Becks uploaded a picture of a mountain of doughnuts to celebrate the occasion.
