CHRISTMAS isn’t the same without an overload of chocolate and B&M is now selling 1kg packs of the stuff – four months before the big day.
The bargain retailer has rolled out retro tins of Quality Street for £8 – perfect if you can’t wait any longer or if you want to stock up for the festive season.
The chocolate was first spotted by Facebook page Money Saver Online, who shared the find with its followers and it proved popular.
One user said: “We should start stocking up!!”, while another added: “Get one of these for the Xmas cupboard pllleeeaaasssee.”
And a third one said: “This is a must for Christmas.”
If you’re keen to snap them up too, you’ll be pleased to know that they’re available in all B&M stores nationwide. You can find your nearest one using its store locator tool.
It could be worth doing as the standard-size Quality Street tubs have shrunk again this year despite prices in shops staying the same.
Just be aware that you can get the treats cheaper at other times of the year as shops usually reduce slightly smaller tins to roughly £5 nearer to December 25.
Costco is currently also selling a tin double the size at 2kg for £11.62, just £3.62 more than at B&M.
Although, as it’s a wholesaler you’ll need to be a member to shop there.
This costs £15 for an online account, or you’ll have to pay £33.60 to enjoy its offers in stores.
If you’re not keen on that and you miss out at B&M, online supermarket Ocado is selling the retro 1kg tins for just 99p more at £8.99.
Asda and Tesco are also selling 650g plastic tins of Quality Street for £4 and £5, respectively.
Last year, Quality Street tins were found to be a whopping 40 per cent smaller than 10 years ago.
In May, Quality Street also axed Toffee Deluxe again – two years after a social media storm saw its return.
While in September last year, it quietly got rid of the Honeycomb Crunch flavour.
