IF you’re struggling to keep cool in the heat, you may want to pop by Home Bargains for its hand-held fans that spray water.
Shoppers in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook have spotted the nifty innovation for just £1.99 at the bargain shop and they say it’s a “godsend in this weather”.
The spray fan has room for up to 400ml of water and comes with soft fan blades to make sure you don’t hurt yourself while using it.
Simply fill the bottle with ice or cold water, switch on and spray a light mist when you need cooling down the most.
Just keep in mind that you’ll need two AA batteries for it to work.
The fan is just 22.5cm tall and comes in blue or pink, according to one shopper.
The Sun hasn’t been able to find the fans on the Home Bargains website, so you’ll need to pop by your nearest shop to see if you can get your hands on them.
The retailer has more than 500 shops across the UK. You can find your closest one by using its store locator tool.
The posts proved popular on Facebook, with one user saying: “Would be so good right now.”
While another added: “I got one I keep my on at night for bed.”
The Benross-branded fans have a recommended retail price (RRP) of £4, meaning you’ll save a few quid by shopping at Home Bargains.
The same fans are on sale for a pricier £2.99 on both Trackpack and Outdoor Camping Direct.
Or if you miss out there too, you’d have to fork out £6.49 by shopping on Amazon.
Alternatively, if you’re after the cheapest possible option, Amazon is selling a mini-fan measuring just 10cm for £1.89 – but sadly this doesn’t spray water.
Sweltering Brits are panic buying fans in a bid to keep cool as temperatures soar – and shops including Asda and Tesco are selling out.
If your local stores still have fans in stock, Argos is selling a remote control fan that is perfect for hot nights.
While Aldi is selling a stunning copper 16 inch desk fan for a bargain price.
