PHIL Mitchell is going to be viciously attacked and left for dead in EastEnders in a few weeks and the suspects list has been confirmed.
The Walford hardman – who is played by actor Steve McFadden in the BBC soap – will be left for dead after having run ins with a series of others in Albert Square.
But who is the one who attacked him?
Kat is a surprising addition to the suspects’ list but she will be given more reason than most to want to take down the Mitchell wrong’un.
Viewers know that Kat’s estranged husband Alfie stole Phil’s £50k under the guise of helping him launder it, and the hardman only got his cash back last week after employing Shirley Carter to convince them to hand it over.
He promised there would be no comeback on the Slaters for the theft, but he will be tested next week when a drunken Kat publicly mocks him for the cash theft, and he overreacts.
Phil corners her and despite Kat’s attempts to backtrack, he issues a chilling threat to harm her young son Tommy, leaving Kat terrified.
But much like real cats, Kat Slater is at her most dangerous when she’s backed into a corner and her young are threatened so will she take a swipe at Phil and land him in hospital?
Ben is furious about his dad sidelining him from the family businesses.
Having already shown he is happy to kill members of his own family with his botched attempt to pay a hitman to kill his uncle Billy, Ben is more dangerous than ever after the events of this week leave him in no doubt that Phil doesn’t want him around.
Viewers have seen Phil cut psycho son Ben out of his will in favour of Keanu – and Ben was furious about it.
And without Phil wanting him in his life, Ben won’t be able to fleece him for everything he is worth – so could he resort to murder to get his revenge for all of Phil’s failings as a father?
Sharon is in a tricky position in EastEnders not yet knowing if she is carrying Phil’s baby or her lover Keanu’s.
The resourceful businesswoman tracked down a company that can do in pregnancy DNA testing and quickly stole a sample of Phil’s DNA to send off to the company, and the results will be back before Phil’s attack.
Could Phil find the results and question Sharon leading to her smacking him over the head with a spanner, a wrench or anything in the Mitchell household?
And could Sharon do that to her husband, just to keep the baby secret?
If there’s one person who would be able to fight back against Phil Mitchell then it’s Keanu Taylor – and boy, would he have need to fight back.
He’s bedded Phil’s wife Sharon and possibly got her pregnant, and he’s definitely got Phil’s daughter Louise pregnant – so should the former come out, there would be hell to pay.

But viewers also know that Keanu’s dad was an evil, abusive, violent criminal and he has shown flares of temper before now.
So if Phil had found out about the affair and confronted Keanu, Phil may be biting off more than he can chew.
The identity of Phil’s attacker will be revealed in the coming weeks.
