EMMERDALE star Charley Webb is trying her best to make her new baby make an appearance – by eating lots of hot curries.
The actress is pregnant with her third child with fellow soap star Matthew Wolfenden – and isn’t having much luck popping this one out.
The mum-of-two posted a video of a spicy looking curry and captioned it, “Come on now baby Wolf.”
The buffet was filled with three curry dishes, rice, poppadoms, chutney and naan bread – with the hope that spicy food encourages the start of labour.
The soap star hasn’t had an easy ride when it comes to her latest pregnancy.
Husband Matthew, 39, recently appeared on Loose Women and told the ladies about Charley’s condition which makes her really sick.
He said: “Charley is a big fan of giving birth, but not pregnancy itself, it’s really odd.
“Unfortunately, pregnancy for her has been brutal this time round. She’s been ill from the get go and is still sick now.”
Charley was recently diagnosed with a pregnancy-related pelvic condition – SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction).
The 31-year-old recently took to social media to vent about how people stick their noses into other people’s parenting, which affects her and sons Buster, eight, and Bowie, three, in their North Yorkshire home.
She wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of her youngest child in bed with her: ““I’ve found since having kids everyone’s got an opinion on what’s right and what’s wrong.
“‘Don’t let them in your bed, you’re making a rod for your own back.’
“No, I will let them in my bed. And I will wake up to a tiny face resting on my arm because I want to.
“They’re babies and then they’re grown up, so much quicker than I ever thought was possible.
“Always do what is right for you and your kids.
“Not annoying people around you thinking they know best. They don’t.”
