A HOST of legendary WWE names were in attendance for a very special Raw Reunion episode last night.
But what would be in store for the company’s current roster when some of the icons returned on the road to SummerSlam?
Here’s a look at some of the main highlights from the show:
The biggest name in wrestling kicked off the show as John Cena reiterated that WWE was still his home.
However, The Usos quickly interrupted him, and they had a special guest with them… their father Rikishi.
The big man attempted a dance number, but that was cut short by The Revival and D-Von Dudley – leading to the tag-team champs losing to The Usos in the match that ensued.
Drake Maverick finally got his hands back on the love of his life by rolling up R-Truth as his wife slammed the ex-champ for ruining her marriage.
But the Englishman could not keep hold of it for long. While celebrating he ran into The Boogeyman backstage, and as he fell to the ground in fear, Vince McMahon’s former stooge capitalised to pin him.
However, his old buddy Gerald Brisco would later sneakily win it from him before history would be made.
The stunning Kelly Kelly arrived on the scene, kneed the veteran in the crown jewels, and pinned him to run away with the belt.
But once again there were yet more twists and turns in the life of the 24/7 championship.
Later in the night the blonde bombshell lost it to Candice Michelle, before legend Alundra Blayze arrived to choke out Michelle and win it for herself via submission.
Blayze, who famously threw the WWE Women’s Title in a trash can after leaving to join WCW in the 90s, was about to do something similar until the ‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted Dibiase bought it from her.
Dibiase then attempted to leave in his limo, but Maverick pounced to regain the strap.
He then tried to leave with his wife in the limo, but R-Truth rolled him up to claim back the title before jumping in the car and speeding off with his foe’s wife.
Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles, who had earlier renamed his Club of Gallows and Anderson as The OC, by DQ.
The OC attacked Rollins until Triple H and Shawn Michaels darted to the ring for the save.
Styles, Gallows and Anderson then attempted to Too Sweet DX, but Road Dogg, X-Pac, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall arrived to sending them fleeing before Rollins told them too “suck it”.
Even the WWE legends are not safe from the recently-returned Bray Wyatt.
Mick Foley hit the ring only to be interrupted by a mass of wrestlers chasing the 24/7 title, but worse was to follow after the melee had finished.
The Fiend showed up to choke Foley out with his own Mandible Claw.
When it comes to wrestling icons, then you don’t get much bigger than Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Flair entered the squared-circle first before Hogan showed up to a cut a promo on himself.
Suddenly the glass would smash as the Texas Rattlesnake emerged from the back to a huge ovation.
The beers were immediately flowing as everyone backstage hit the ring to celebrate, and Austin grabbed the mic to put over the Raw crowd and Tampa before having a toast with the others to close out the show.
