BORIS Johnson has left his office in London ahead of The Sun’s Final Showdown debate with Jeremy Hunt tonight.
The two Tory candidates battling to become next PM will go head-to-head for the final time in front of an audience of Sun readers in just a few hours time.
Just a week before one of them will be crowned the next leader and PM, Boris was seen stepping into a car in Westminster.
The 90-minute-long showdown will take place at The Sun’s HQ in London Bridge, where both candidates will be grilled by Political Editor Tom Newton Dunn.
He will press them to answer Sun reader’s tough questions on what they will do if they are to lead Britain through Brexit and beyond.
The debate will be broadcast live on The Sun Online and across our social media channels as well as TalkRADIO.
You can watch and keep up with all the action on our live-stream and live-blog here.
Last week the two had a tense clash live on ITV.
They are sure to be pushed on whether they agree with President Trump’s comments about several Democrat congresswomen today.
And they will be asked on what they think about the series of leaks that’s dominated the news for the last week.
Sir Kim Darroch, the UK’s ambassador to the US, resigned last week after several of his cables were leaked to the press.
The special relationship is now at its worst in decades after the President attacked the PM’s “foolish” and “disastrous” Brexit deal – and refused to work with Sir Kim.
Whoever comes into No10 next week will have a huge task on their hands to mend the relationship and get relations back on track in order to seal a trade deal with the US after Brexit.
Boris and Hunt are also sure to be grilled on their plans for delivering Brexit, whether they will cut taxes, and how they will help Sun readers.
