STAR Trek legend William Shatner is more w-OAP speed than warp speed on his mobility scooter.
The actor, 88, was snapped texting on it at AlienCon convention in LA.

Shatner, Captain Kirk in the 1960s TV sci-fi hit, teased his new documentary The UnXplained in a talk about extraterrestrial sightings.
Last year, he came under fire after wading into the MeToo debate.
While saying that he fully supported the movement, he felt it had become “hysterical” to the point he no longer puts his arms around fans at Star Trek conventions.
Shatner also said he felt forced to rethink complements like “looking good” or “great legs”.
While promoting his own Christmas album – titled Shatner Claus – the Captain Kirk actor said that Frank Loesser’s classic “Baby It’s Cold Outside” was simply a man “offering an invitation and presenting an argument for not leaving”.

After the Canadian station banned the song, Shatner encouraged fans to call the BBC to tell them to play it while blasting the “2018 prudes” who “want to interpret the lyrics as something else.”
He told DailyMailTV: “In 2018 we have the MeToo movement, which I think is great, that these hidden forces are exposed and not to be allowed and women have equal rights. I’ve got three daughters, I’m all for that.”
But he said at the same time, he believed it may be time for the “firebrands” to step back and the “business-like people” to take over.
