A TEENAGER is fighting for life after being stabbed more than 20 times in the street as Britain’s bloodshed rages on.
The 15-year-old was knifed repeatedly at around 2.10am today in Luton, Beds, in a “horrific” attack.
He was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition, cops confirmed.
Horrified locals said they heard “screaming and shouting” just moments before the boy was brutally attacked.
One said: “At first I thought it was animal screams but as they went on I realised it was a male screaming.
“The screaming went on for about two or three minutes, then it all went quiet, and then the screaming started again.
“It sounded like someone was in a lot of pain. It was a screaming for your life kind of scream.”
Bedfordshire Police are now appealing for information and said they have officers in the area on patrol.

Det Insp Jerry Waite said: “The victim received more than 20 stab wounds in this shocking incident and is now fighting for his life.
“It’s absolutely vital that anyone who has any information about this incident, no matter how minor it may seem, gets in touch with us.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting Operation Bald, or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
The stabbing comes as Britain continues to battle a knife crime epidemic with an unprecedented wave of bloodshed related to knives unleashed in the UK in recent years.
In 2018, the number of fatal stabbings in England and Wales was the highest it has ever been since records began in 1946.
A staggering 285 people were butchered with a knife or sharp instrument in the 12 months ending March 2018.
By December, there had been an overall rise in knife crime by six per cent on the previous reporting year, according to the Office for National Statistics.
The total number of recorded police incidents involving a blade was an astonishing 44,443.
