WWE legend Kelly Kelly has revealed it was Vince McMahon that taught her how to strip.
The blonde bombshell, 32, became a huge favourite with wrestling fans across the globe after joining the company in 2006.
Originally a model, the superstar was immediately thrust into the spotlight as an exhibitionist who would strip-tease to the crowd following the reboot of ECW in 2008.
Kelly, real name Barbie Blank, left the company in 2012 and has since gone on to achieve huge success on reality TV show WAGS.
But the former Divas champion’s early appearances on WWE TV are still a big hit with her fans.
Now the icon, who made an in-ring comeback at the Royal Rumble and historic Evolution pay-per-views, has admitted it was the 73-year-old billionaire WWE owner who showed her exactly the saucy moves he wanted.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet about her time in WWE, Kelly recalled: “Paul Heyman called me and said we have this idea and it’s this gimmick and you’re gonna come out and you’re gonna do this strip-tease and then your jealous boyfriend is gonna come out and wrap you in a towel.
“Vince is like ‘It’ll be fine, I’ll teach you the moves’. I was like ‘well, whatever I have to do get my foot in the door.’
“I’m like sitting there and I’m watching Vince McMahon, who I watched when I was 13 years old and I just idolised, and he’s got a chair and he swings his jacket around.”
And fans will be hopeful of seeing her in action again after her comeback in the autumn at the first-ever all-female PPV.
She told Sun Sport at the event: “When I started 12 years ago as an exhibitionist I never thought we’d get to the point of having our own pay-per-view.
“I always say never say never and I love coming back for things like this. What the girls are doing now is amazing and it’s so exciting to get in the ring with them.”
But she added: “I did miss it but once it was done I felt ready to go home and put my sweats on.
“I remember being here before and it was just going, going, going every week. So to go back to do that is just so overwhelming.”
