CELTIC are preparing to find out who their first opponents are as they begin their quest for Champions League football.
The Bhoys must progress through a gruelling four rounds of qualifiers to make the group stage – something they failed to do last year when they were comfortably beaten by AEK Athens.
The Champions League first qualifying round draw will take place at 1.30pm on Tuesday, June 18.
The second qualifying round draw will then follow a day later on Wednesday, June 19.
The pots have been divided up and Celtic will avoid another powder keg tie with Northern Irish champions Linfield.
Neil Lennon’s Bhoys are scheduled to play one of the following teams:
Valletta (Malta)
Sarajevo (Bosnia)
Sutjeska (Montenegro)
Partizani (Albania)
Saburtalo (Georgia)
Unfortunately the Champions League draw will not be live on UK television.
But you can live stream it on the Uefa website.
Celtic’s potential second qualifying round opponents will be announced once the first qualifying round draw has been made.
The Champions League first qualifying round will be played on Tuesday July 9 or Wednesday, July 10.
The return matches will follow a week later on Tuesday, July 16 or Wednesday, July 17.
BT Sport have the rights to broadcast the Champions League in the UK.
However, this only kicks in from the play-off round, meaning clubs sell rights for individual matches to a broadcaster.
Often, Celtic home games are not on TV as the Bhoys look to encourage fans to attend fixtures at the stadium rather than live streaming.
