RIHANNA is said to have struck up a secret friendship with Meghan Markle since moving to London, according to reports.
A source told Radar: “Rihanna, 31, and Meghan, 37, have found similar interests to bond over and both appreciate the need for maintaining privacy.
The pair’s new friendship isn’t that surprising, as Harry and Rihanna have been pals since 2016 when they got tested together for HIV/AIDS in her homeland Barbados, to raise awareness for World Aids Day .
“[Meg and Rihanna] actually have a lot in common in terms of style and a shared need for total privacy in their lives,” the source continued.
“They’ve bumped into each other a few times before Meghan was super famous and have a few mutual acquaintances on the Hollywood social scene who’ve put them in touch again recently.”
Rihanna shocked fans last month when she revealed she has been living in the English capital for a year and recording new music.
Meghan is currently spending time with baby Archie after he was born on May 6She said she has been “keeping a little incognito” since moving to London, and loves having slightly more anonymity than her previous homes of New York and LA.
The singer said to the New York Times: “[I enjoy] walking around the block. When I go walking, I try to keep it a little incognito,’ adding that she finds Bank Holidays ‘insane’ [in a good way].”

Rihanna isn’t the first celebrity friend of the Duchess of Sussex, 37, who is also pals with Priyanka Chopra, Amal Clooney and Serena Williams.
Rihanna – who is originally from Barbados – is said to have moved to London to be closer to her beauty products team, as her creations are designed in Paris and manufactured in Italy.
The city is also where her boyfriend, Hassan Jameel, lives.
Rihanna has previously teased she is in London as a Sainsbury’s bag for life was spotted in the background of a recent video.
Alongside a screen grab of her Instagram video, one fan wrote: “Am I hearing this right? Rihanna lives in London?”
Another shared: “Rihanna lives in London it is now my mission to find her”, with a third tweeting: “Rihanna lives in London?? I didn’t know I was this close to the queen. I’ve breathed the same London air as her! OMG!”

The singer has recently expanded her Fenty Beauty line, and earlier this month she launched her cosmetics range in Boots stores across the UK.
She has also partnered with the luxury firm LVMH to launch her own fashion line Fenty.
Meghan Markle is currently enjoying spending time with newborn baby Archie, who was born on May 6.
She was last seen with husband Prince Harry, 34, on the Queen’s official birthday celebration Trooping the Colour.
