THE brother of the “wicked” mum who let her husband rape her daughter from the age of 10 said he would have “knocked her out” if he knew of his niece’s torture.
Stefan Gray was horrified and disgusted when he learned of the campaign of abuse at the hands of Mary-Louisa Andrews, 50, and her partner Anokye Andrews.
Speaking at his mid-terraced home today in High Wycombe, Bucks., he said: “Obviously if I had known what was happening I would have knocked her out. It is shocking.
“I love my niece to pieces and so does my dad. We are really gutted that this has all taken place without us knowing and it has devastated us.”
Mary-Louisa Andrews’ father only said: “I never want to see her again.”
His niece, who is now 28, waived her legal right to anonymity so her mum and stepdad could be named and shamed for her role in the evil crimes.
The heartless mum, a ride operator at a children’s park, was caged for four years for ignoring the abuse – which led to the girl becoming pregnant three times – over fears her husband Anoyke Andrews would end their relationship.
Anoyke Andrews, 44, was jailed for 20 years after being found guilty of six counts of rape, two counts of indecent assault and assault by penetration.
Mr Gray added: “I feel disgusted. I’ll tell you I’d be glad if I never see my sister again and I think my dad feels the same.
“I knew she was a wrong’un anyway because she told a lot of lies. She is a liar.”
Mary-Louisa Andrews’ father only said: “I never want to see her again.”
Mr Gray also blasted what he said was his sister’s lenient sentence.
He said: “I think Ag’s [Anoyke] sentence reflects what happened to my niece, I think it’s justified, but my sister only got three years.
“I don’t think they gave my sister enough, I think she should have got more because you don’t do that to your own children.
“She was doing that to her own kid.”
The vile couple lived together in a three-bedroom home estimated to be worth £191,000 in Milton Keynes, Bucks.
Anoyke Andrews first began abusing the girl at the age of 10 and she first fell pregnant at just 12 years old.
She was forced to undergo a number of abortions, after which Anoyke Andrews continued to rape her in the family home between 2000 and 2007.
Mr Gray speculated why his evil sister would let such shocking abuse to happen under her watch.
he said: “I was close to my sister at one point, I always used to go down to their house even when their daughter used to live there but then I noticed she started to run away quite often.
“She used to disappear every now and then and now, thinking back and pondering it, now I know why.
“Not only that, the reason I think they did that to her was because my sister wanted a baby and Ag wanted a baby.”
The warehouse operator was only caught when his stepdaughter found the courage to contact police years later as an adult.
He said: “I heard my sister got three years and Ag got 20 years.
“I’m glad he’s in prison because I’ll kill him. That’s my niece he has done this to.”
Mr Gray said he is still in touch with his niece and even showed a Christmas card they received from her.

He said: “”I love my niece to pieces and I would do anything for her.
“If she hasn’t got support from us who does she have support from? It’s wrongful what happened to her.”
He said Mary-Louisa Andrews and her husband even came to Mr Gray and his father to beg for their support – but he said now he’s just disgusted.
Mr Gray said: “My mum has been dead about three years now, Mary and Ag came down here pleading their innocence just before that.
“I said I would stay neutral until I heard more but now I am sick to my stomach with her.
“I am absolutely gutted about the whole disgusting thing.”
The couple’s sentencing had been delayed when Mary-Louisa Andrews suffered a panic attack on the morning she was due to appear via video link before a packed public gallery at Aylesbury Crown Court on May 31.
The former caterer burst into tears yesterday as she appeared via video link to receive her three-year sentence for neglect.
Sentencing, judge Francis Sheridan told her: “The tears you shed are for yourself.
“I do not think any of them are for your daughter. I am not in any way influenced.
“You have not shown any sign of remorse.
“It is time somebody told you to your face – and I will: You were a wicked mother.
“When your daughter complained, her complaints were dismissed.
“You will take that dismissal to the grave. You betrayed your daughter to stand by your husband.
“She has gone through what can only be described as a life of hell.
“There must have been times in her young life where there appeared to be almost no remission from abuse.”
Prosecuting, Angus Robertson, described an incident where Andrews raped the young girl while they were in the living room watching football on TV and Mary-Louisa Andrews shouted downstairs to ask what they were doing.

Anoyke Andrews had shouted back ‘nothing’, and no more was said but the girl maintained in court her mother had known.
Mr Robertson said: “When she was aged 12 years, she found she was pregnant. She had a termination of the pregnancy. She did not want to have that termination.
“Mr Andrews told Mrs Andrews that if the pregnancy wasn’t terminated he would end the relationship and leave her.
“Mrs Andrews always insisted that a young man was responsible and the girl should tell the boy he was the father. Mr Andrews continued to have regular intercourse with the victim after that termination.
“She became pregnant again when she was 13 years old, told her mother the father was Mr Andrews and said they could have her child.
“Both defendants were attempting to have a child of their own. Mrs Andrews considered this, but told her to ‘get rid of it’.”
Addressing Anoyke Andrews, who kept his head bowed throughout, Judge Francis Sheridan said: “You were a thoroughly evil and wicked step-father. Let’s call it exactly what it is. That is the finding of the jury.
“The jury believed your stepdaughter. That is her first step to recovery from a life of hell inflicted by you, with the sex drive of a monster.
“You treated your stepdaughter as an object.
“A little girl, an innocent little girl, corrupted and for those years whilst under your care, her life was ruined.”
“If you wanted sexual contact, she had to deliver and the poor little thing was scared to say anything and when she did, her complaints were dismissed.”
The victim waived her right to anonymity so Andrews and her mother could be named by the media but requested her name is not made public.
