COULD one of these Sun readers be crowned Britain’s Hottest Dad?

We’ve been overwhelmed with entries from proud mums, friends, wives and girlfriends – and the competition is fierce!

Here we’ve rounded up 20 top contenders who are all in with a chance of winning the £1,000 prize and a glam photo shoot.

James Johnston, 31, is a sales manager from Glasgow who was nominated by partner Christina Midgley, 29.

He is dad to Lila Rose, two, and the family hope to use the money to have their very first holiday abroad together.

Christina says: “James has always been very supportive and understanding of my illness with endometriosis and we didn’t know if we could have children because of it.

“When we had a miracle baby Lila he has been the best dad ever to her.

“Lila has been hospitalised twice this year due to breathing difficulties and he has stayed with her at the hospital, day and night, and always looks after her by making sure she’s OK and putting her first.”

“He came to London 10 years ago when we met. He does everything for his kids to ensure they had everything he couldn’t have when growing up.

“Apart from being an amazing dad, he works very hard caring for the elderly and the sick. He cares for his customers like they are his own family. He’s just caring, fun, loyal.”
