CESC FABREGAS has given a Twitter troll both barrels after he ridiculed his career achievements.
Fabregas posted a photo of 12 shirts from his career and asked his followers which one gave them the best memories.
Clearly a disgruntled Arsenal fan, Marcos Breton called out the former Chelsea and Gunners midfielder.
He tweeted: “The one where you @Arsenal captain. You traded that to sit on the bench at @FCBarcelona.”
However, the Spain World Cup winner replied: “I started in 121 games out of the 151 I played…
“I won 6 tittles (sic), I scored in 2 finals, won a league of 100 points having played 36 games, 43 goals and 47 assists…but yeah, cool.”
Another fan, Shyam Bond, posted: “u r 100% right Cesc n yet why didn’t u end ur Career at Barcelona?Such a decorated player yet they sold u…the club u love..but Arsenal loved u..u decided to go to the club u think loved u at a time Arsenal needed u the most.”
Fabregas, 32, has a point about his career success.
After moving to North London from Barca in 2003, he won the Premier League title in his first season with boss Arsene Wenger’s famous Invincibles.
He also won the 2005 FA Cup before returning to Catalonia where he enjoyed three successful years at the Nou Camp.
Fabregas won the Fifa Club World Cup in 2012, La Liga in 2013 and the Copa Del Rey in 2012.
I won 6 titles, I scored in 2 finals, won a league of 100 points having played 36 games, 43 goals and 47 assists…but yeah, cool
The midfielder then enjoyed five years at Chelsea, winning two Prem titles and the FA Cup and contributing loads of assists.
He came on as a late sub in Spain’s 2010 World Cup win against Holland, and set up Andres Iniesta’s winner which sealed his country’s glorious victory.
Fabregas started in Spain’s 2008 European Championship final win over Germany.
He also played a vital role in the 2012 European Championship final triumph against Italy.
You’d think that would be enough to impress even the most hardened cynic – guess there’s just no pleasing some people.
