KATE Middleton today beamed as she arrived at a Cumbria to try her hand at sheep shearing.
The Duchess of Cambridge and husband Prince William headed to the market town of Keswick this afternoon to mark the resilience of the rural and farming communities.
And the parents left the kids at home as they headed out for the afternoon visit North West County.
Mum-of-three Kate channelled a country look with black jeans paired with a waterproof khaki coat.
During today’s visit, Kate, 37, and William, 36, will meet with local organisations who support farms in the region, as well as volunteers who work with the local mountain rescue.
The couple are also expected to try out sheep shearing during the visit.
It comes after the couple showed off their growing young family over the weekend at Trooping the Colour.
Celebrating the Queen’s birthday, the Cambridges and their kids – Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one, joined the Royal Family on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Little Prince Louis stole the show as he waved at crowds in his first royal engagement.
The Cambridge youngsters had last month been seen playing in Kate’s Back to Nature Chelsea show display.
The birthday celebration, on June 8, also saw Meghan Markle take a break from her her maternity leave and return to official duties.
The event was the first royal engagement for the Duchess of Sussex, who gave birth just last month to baby Archie.
The mum-of-one was last seen two days after giving birth, when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex presented Archie to the world.
