MAURIZIO SARRI’S Chelsea exit seems to have been confirmed by a Chelsea shareholder on Instagram.
Saudi businessman Hasan Nagoor posted “Thank you Sarri” on his official account – with the Italian seemingly set for Juventus.
Nagoor, who owns a box at Stamford Bridge and set up the official supporters’ club in Saudi Arabia, is often pictured with players at the Stadium.
He has previously been pictured with Bruce Buck, Antonio Conte, Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba, among others.
Chelsea are thought to have agreed Sarri can go – if Juve pay the full compensation of £5.3million.
And earlier this month the 60-year-old himself said: “For us Italians the call of home is strong.
“I feel that something is missing. It has been a heavy year.”
The former Napoli boss had gradually won over critics of Sarri-ball by guiding the Blues to a third-place finish in the Premier League and a 4-1 Europa League final win over Arsenal.
But he is still determined to leave.
Sarri reportedly wants to to take Chelsea loan striker Gonzalo Higuain and Brazil left-back to Juve with him.
Blues’ legend Frank Lampard is the favourite to take over at Stamford Bridge once Sarri’s expected departure is settled.
But ex-England midfielder Lampard has just finished his first season in management, where he took Derby to a Championship play-off final defeat against Aston Villa.
Former Juventus chief Massimiliano Allegri, Nice manager Patrick Vieira and Watford boss Javi Gracia have also been linked with the job.
And Steve Holland, Gareth Southgate‘s assistant with England, is also tipped for a Bridge return.
