RUSSIAN model Irina Shayk seems to have it all including a beautiful baby daughter, successful career as a supermodel and one of the biggest social media followings in the world.
But the Victoria’s Secret model has now split with her partner of four years and father of her child, Bradley Cooper. Here’s the lowdown…
In June 2019, the couple called it quits after four years together.
The actor, 44, and supermodel, 33, are now amicably working out how to share custody of their two-year-old daughter Lea De Seine, an insider told PEOPLE.
The news came just two days after Sun Online exclusively revealed that Irina had moved out of the LA mansion she shared with ex-fiance Bradley.
A source told us: “Things are cooling off between Bradley and Irina in a big way.
“They haven’t been good for a few months and Irina decided it would be best if she moved into her own place.
“It’s not looking like there’s much long left for the two of them together.”
Despite US reports of their relationship “hanging on by a thread,” there is yet to be an official explanation for the split.
Though a source told People that their relationship was never the same after A Star Is Born.
They said: “Bradley was emotionally absent during the long time filming A Star Is Born.
“They tried to save the relationship but it had changed.”
But that hasn’t stopped speculation being rife ever since Bradley’s steamy Oscars performance with his A Star Is Born co-star, Lady Gaga, caused shockwaves back in February.
Though both have denied that they were in a secret relationship.
Bradley had been in a relationship with Russian model Irina Shayk since April 2015.
By November of that year, the two love birds had moved in together in New York’s West Village.
In March 2017, Irina gave birth to their adorable daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper., who just turned two.
Back in February 2019, just days before Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s steamy performance at the Oscars, Irina unfollowed the singer.
After the shock move, a source told The Sun:
“The stories about Irina being sick of Gaga have some truth to them – it’s not that she dislikes Gaga or is jealous of her, but she’s sick of the constant stories about her ‘close’ relationship to Bradley.
“She’s no stranger to cheating rumours – she dated Cristiano Ronaldo after all – but it’s been a long publicity campaign and she’s ready for it to end.
“She’s actually thrilled at how successful the movie has been and really wanted to go to the Oscars.
“It’s undeniable that Gaga and Bradley have chemistry – they have a lot more in common than Irina and Bradley – but that’s why the movie worked.”
Before dating Hollywood hunk Bradley Cooper, the Russian model was in a relationship with Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
The pair had dated for five years before calling it quits in January 2015.
Just months later in Spring of the same year she started dating Bradley.
Irina was born in Yemanzhelinsk, a Russian district that is located near the nation’s border with Kazakhstan.
Tragically, when she was just 14 years old, Irina’s dad Valery – who was of Volga Tatar ethnicity – passed away following complications of pneumonia.
As a child, she pursued her love of music while her mum Olga worked two jobs to provide for the family.
While she was training at a beauty school, Irina was noticed by a model talent scout.
In 2004, she won the Miss Chalyabinsk contest, which propelled her into the fashion industry.
Three years later, she landed a huge deal with lingerie brand Intimissimi, fronting their advertising campaign.
She also made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, where she’s appeared in every edition since.
As well as walking the catwalk for designers including Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Versace, she also appeared in the iconic annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (even doing so when pregnant with her daughter.)
It’s no surprise that Irina has become the model with the 8th biggest social media presence, as she’s graced numerous magazine front covers, including GQ.
The stunning star has also been ranked first in the 50 Hottest Russian Women list, which was compiled by Complex magazine.
After years in the modelling industry, Irina was selected to join the judging panel of Russia’s Next Top Model in 2012.
She’s also appeared in a Hollywood blockbuster alongside Dwayne Johnson, playing the role of Megara in Hercules.
When she’s not busy walking the catwalk or filming, Irina gets stuck in with charity work.
Irina has been heavily involved with the construction of a maternity ward in her hometown, Yemanzhelinsk, as well as helping to renovate the children’s section.
She has also helped to raise money and awareness on behalf of Russian Charity, Pomogi, which works to protect kids suffering from illness.
