JULIAN DRAXLER has been offered to Tottenham as a £35million replacement for wantaway Christian Eriksen, according to reports.
Danish midfielder Eriksen, 27, revealed his desire to leave Spurs this week, with Real Madrid his most likely destination.
And Mauricio Pochettino has already had a potential successor thrust in front of him as Paris Saint-Germain look to capitalise on the situation.
The French champions are looking to sell players this summer in order to comply with FFP and Draxler has been considered surplus to requirement.
And so PSG have dangled the German midfielder in front of Spurs with a price tag of £35million, according to Daily Star.
Draxler scored just four goals in 44 appearances for the Ligue 1 side last season, while Eriksen scored 13 in 57 for club and country.
The Dane has only one year left on his contract at Tottenham and revealed his hopes for a move this summer.
Eriksen told Danish magazine Ekstra Bladet: “I feel like I am in a place in my career where I might want to try something new.
“I have the wildest and deepest respect for everything that has happened at Tottenham.
“But I have also said that I would like to try something new.
“I hope there will be clarification during the summer, that’s the plan.”
Tottenham will demand £80m from Real Madrid, who have already announced the arrival of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic, to sign Eriksen.
