I’M drinking to the fact that summer is finally here.

1. WINE NOT? B&M is a great place to head for cut-price booze. Get two bottles of Le Soleil’s Tropical Fusion or Summer Berry fusions for a fiver. They’re usually £2.99 each. SAVE: 98p
2. FRUIT DUPE: Love Pimm’s? ASDA’s Summer Cup tastes almost exactly the same – and at £7, it’s £6 cheaper than the real deal. While I’m shopping, I’ll be stocking up on a 35p cucumber and a punnet of strawbs for a £1 to make a refreshing jug with lemonade (or ginger ale if you don’t have a sweet tooth). SAVE: £6
3. GIN-CREDIBLE: Lidl’s Hortus Rhubarb and Ginger gin puts a new twist on an old favourite. Its unique flavour and fancy bottle make it just as classy as more expensive versions, but at £11.99, it’s a total steal. To put it into perspective, that’s £13 cheaper than some of Sipsmith’s offerings. SAVE: £13
4. RUMMY GOOD: I don’t know about you, but nothing screams summer more to me than Malibu. Now the Caribbean rum has had a revamp – and I couldn’t be more excited. Packed with flavours of strawberry and a hint of coconut, Malibu Strawberry Spritz is available at Tesco for £9.50, that’s £10 cheaper than the original. SAVE: £10
5. OH SCHNAPP: Sainsbury’s’ Aspen’s Peach Schnapps is practically identical to Archers. In fact, the biggest difference is the price. Archers will set you back £12, while Aspen’s is a purse-friendly £7.15. I’ll be having a glass as I relax during balmy evenings on the patio. SAVE: £4.85
