DELE ALLI threw a bottle in anger after being subbed during Tottenham’s Champions League final defeat to Liverpool.
It was heartbreak for Spurs in Madrid as goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi lead Liverpool to a sixth Champions League trophy.
Spurs failed to stamp their authority on the game and midfielder Alli was replaced by striker Fernando Llorente on 82 minutes.
The England international was captured chucking a water bottle towards his bench as his frustration was evident.
Five minutes later Origi, who netted twice against Barcelona in the semi-final second leg, netted the second on the night and handed Spurs the runners up medal.
Fans on Twitter slated for Alli for his performance in Madrid, with the 23-year-old quiet throughout before being replaced eight minutes from time.
One said: “Dele Alli is the IOS version of Lingard.”
Another said: “Name a more overrated player in the PL than Dele Alli.”
One added: “Dele Alli dropping a 0/10 performance when it matters. You love to see it.”
Another added: “Just me that thinks Dele Alli is a fraud.”
