DEAR DEIDRE: A FABULOUS, beautiful girl used to work in the chip shop where I always go.
We used to chat when I went to get something to eat and we seemed to get on really well.
I was totally gutted when I went in there one night and the other girl said that she had left.
I am 22 and the girl that I like looks about the same age as me.
By chance I found her Facebook when I was just scrolling through.
I stressed for an hour and then sent her a friend request. I was so thrilled when she accepted it.
Now that I’ve found her I so want to ask for a date but I don’t want to risk seeming creepy and scare her away.
Have you any advice?
DEIDRE SAYS: Why not start with a conversation? Send her a message and ask how she is.
Tell her she is missed at the chip shop and ask what she is doing instead.
Say a bit more about you and you will get an idea, pretty soon, about whether she would like to be friends in real life.
Take it slowly, one step at a time.
