JAMES MILNER trolled Liverpool team-mate Andrew Robertson for his lack of a tan as he claimed there is more chance of “spotting a real unicorn” than the Scottish defender catching the sun.
The English midfielder posted a picture of a mystery player sitting on an inflatable unicorn in a pool with the caption: “Guess who…?”
He followed it up by revealing the player to be left-back Robertson – and simultaneously took aim at his pale pal.
Milner captioned the second picture: “More chance of spotting a real unicorn than seeing Robbo with a tan…”
Jurgen Klopp’s men are in Marbella ahead of the Champions League final against Tottenham in Madrid next Saturday.
Full-back Robertson was forced off after 46 minutes against Barca after colliding with ex-Red Luis Suarez.
His replacement Georginio Wijnaldum happened to net twice in two minutes to level the tie leaving Divock Origi to score the winner.
Robertson was spotted leaving hospital with his injured leg in a bandage one day after Liverpool booked their place in a second consecutive Champions League final.
the defender is still training with his team-mates in the heat of Spain as he races to be fit for the all Premier League final.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has already begun the mind games, suggesting Liverpool’s mass spending of £369million since summer 2017 makes them favourites in Madrid.
