JOSE MOURINHO believes Eden Hazard will be desperate to win one last trophy for Chelsea before signing for Real Madrid.
The Belgium superstar is expected to leave the Premier League for Los Blancos after the Europa League final on Wednesday.
Hazard, 28, is out of contract at the end of next season and Chelsea are willing to let him leave so they don’t lose him for nothing in a years time.
Despite SunSport understanding the Premier League giants were hoping for £100m, Roman Abramovich is prepared to accept the lower fee £87m to boost Chelsea’s coffers.
He will have one last swansong in Baku before waving goodbye to Blues supporters for the final time.
Former Chelsea boss Mourinho told Sky Sports: “It looks like it is the last match in blue for Eden Hazard.
“He is a player that was crucial for Chelsea’s success in this last generation and Eden also will try to be what he is the majority of the time – a fantastic player on the pitch.
“He will want to win and possibly go to Real Madrid with a last trophy for Chelsea.”
Another player playing his final game for Chelsea is keeper Petr Cech.
The veteran will play against his former club in the final match of his career after announcing his retirement.
And Mourinho believes it is a fitting fixture for Cech to bow out to.
He added: “It is Petr Cech’s last football match – I think it’s the match that he would choose.
“If he could choose a match to retire, I think this would be the match.
“I think of course he would love to do it in a winning way because he’s a winner, he won so many things.”
