TREVOR Engelson’s new wife Tracey Kurland has urged him to “leave Meghan Markle in the past” as they “plan to start a family soon”, Fabulous Digital can exclusively reveal.
The couple – who have only been together 18 months- tied the knot in a lavish Californian hotel just days after Meghan Markle gave birth to her first child Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
But as they embark on their new lives together as husband and wife, Tracey – who is heir to a multimillion dollar empire – wants Trevor, 42, to forget all about his ex-wife the Duchess of Sussex.
A close friend of Tracey’s told Fabulous Digital: “Tracey has been a breathe of fresh air in Trevor’s life and the two are blissfully in love.
“The name of Meghan never comes up in conversation when they are around friends and we all get the feeling neither are bothered about what happens in her life.”
Although Tracey’s friend claims that the newlyweds are “oblivious to what is going on with the Royals”, they said that the California-based nutritionist “has been key in helping him recover” from the split.
Describing Tracey, 31, as a “thoughtful and sensitive” person, her friend added: “It seems clear that any emotional baggage that Trevor had after Meghan has been wiped away… or dealt with.
“And it seems Tracey has been key to that.”
What’s more, the newlyweds seem to be following in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s footsteps and are keen to have children sooner rather than later.
The source added: “Everyone thinks they will start a family soon. They are very solid.
“They have been together for about 18 months but felt they had met their soul mates.”
But before they take their next big step as a couple, Trevor’s new wife naturally wants to ensure that he’s not hung up on his ex.
Her friend continued: “I don’t even think that Tracey cares about his past… but she wants him to leave it in the past.”
Meghan Markle first met ex-husband Trevor Engelson back in 2004, while she was working as an actress and he was a film producer.
After seven years together, the couple married in September 2011 at a relaxed beach ceremony in Jamaica.
In comparison to both their extravagant second marriages, Meghan and Trevor’s wedding was a much more relaxed affair – with guests enjoying drinking games on the beach in the run up to the big day.
What’s more, The Sun exclusively revealed last year that Meghan had boasted about serving “200” marijuana joints at her “boozy” first wedding.
However, the couple separated just two years later and cited “irreconcilable differences” in their divorce papers in August 2013.
According to Andrew Morton’s 2018 biography Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, the Duchess dumped her partner of nine years “totally out of the blue” and returned both her wedding and engagement rings in the post.
One of Trevor’s friends – who is referenced in the book- said the producer was left feeling “like he was a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe” after his wife shot to fame through her role in legal drama Suits.
Trevor, 42, and heiress Tracey, 31, married at the idyllic Rosewood Miramar Beach resort last weekend, where rooms cost an eye-watering £570 a night.
From snapshots shared on social media, the stunning venue was flooded with fairy lights and floral garlands while the hundreds of guests dined on burgers and French fries.
In American tradition, the couple enjoyed a lavish rehearsal dinner before the big day – with Trevor wearing a pink suit and Tracey dressed in white – ahead of their wedding last Saturday.
