TOTTENHAM and Liverpool are selling half-and-half scarves ahead of the Champions League final – but the Reds are cheekily charging fans more!
The two Premier League giants will battle it out for the most sought after silverware in Europe on June 1 in Madrid.
Liverpool and Spurs will receive just 16,613 tickets each for the all-English final at the Wanda Metropolitano.
But both clubs have made sure that all of their supporters are able to get their hands on a souvenir from the match.
Half-and-half scarves are deemed a preposterous idea by most football fans as they contain the colours of the opposition.
Spurs are selling the controversial fashion accessory on their club website for £12.
It consists of Tottenham’s colours and badge on one side, the UCL logo and cup and Liverpool’s on the other.
The Merseyside giants have the exact same scarf for sale on their site – but it costs £3 more.
But the North London club have gone the extra mile to ensure their fans have a lifelong memory of their trip to Spain.
They are also stocking half-and-half drinking mugs on their website, which have been priced at £8.
As expected, fans on social media are from impressed by their club’s attempt to increase their sales.
One said: “Half and half mug? I’ve seen it all now.”
Another cheekily added: “They need every penny to make that transfer budget.”
While another simply commented: “Good god that’s awful.”
The memorabilia is a small price to pay considering fans are spending up to £45,000 to secure their ticket for the tie.
