OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER laid into his Manchester United flops on Sunday — branding them a “disgrace” for not being able to beat relegated Huddersfield.
The furious Red Devils boss also questioned whether any of the players actually cared about what was happening to the club.
Solskjaer rounded on some of his stars, telling them they should be ashamed of themselves and were not worthy of wearing the United shirt.
He then demanded that as a sign of respect for the fans and the club they at least finished the season on a high this Sunday with victory over Cardiff.
Solskjaer was dumbfounded with his players’ inability to overcome rock bottom Huddersfield, who were relegated weeks ago.
The players were silent as he laid into them reminding them that it had been such an important game for the club yet they could not step up.
The 1-1 draw ended the club’s hopes of reaching the top four and qualifying for the Champions League.
He told the players that was exactly what they deserved.
In the press conference afterwards at Huddersfield, Solskjaer said that some players may not be seen in a United shirt again.
He accepts he has a massive rebuilding job on his hands now having won just two of their last 11 games in all competitions.
Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial are two he will want to ship out.
Juan Mata and Ander Herrera are already on their way with their contracts up and no new deal agreed.
Marcus Rashford and David De Gea are yet to agree to new offers.
Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in Rashford.
De Gea’s sudden drop in form has cooled any interest in him for the moment.
