EDEN HAZARD has given Chelsea fans hope that he will stay this summer after he appeared in the promotional launch for next season’s home kit.
The Belgian, who has been continuously linked with Real Madrid, sent supporters wild as he insisted “we will” play in the Champions League next year.
And the latest images of the 28-year-old appear to show the Belgian getting ready for next season at Stamford Bridge.
In the leaked pictures, Hazard models the new Chelsea home kit alongside Cesar Azpilicueta and Ethan Ampadu.
The blue strip features a bizarre patterned print across the jersey – which is said to be inspired by the stadium’s architecture.
But the supporters will be relieved to see him in the club colours amid claims that Real Madrid are closing in.
SunSport exclusively revealed that Zinedine Zidane’s side have offered him a whopping £400,000-a-week deal after tax.
He did not rule out staying at Chelsea, but admitted his desire to play in the Champions League after Sunday’s draw with Manchester United.
The 28-year-old, who has 19 goals this season, said: “Chelsea has to play in the Champions League every year.
“It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world, and for myself I also want to play in the Champions League.”
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has kept tight-lipped about the future of his star man at Stamford Bridge.
The Italian tactician said: “I don’t know, you have to
so the club [if he will stay]. The problem is the new contract.
“He will go into the last season of the contract next season, I don’t know anything new at the moment.
“But in this moment for me it is not really important. I am very happy with Eden because he is playing very well and he fights on the pitch, so I am really happy.
“As I say in every press conference, I want to respect his decision.”
