CUSTOMERS with Lloyds Bank have been locked out of their accounts after the website and app crashed this morning.
People are complaining about receiving error messages when they try and log in.
There are currently 667 reports of problems on website Down Detector with issues being reported across the UK.
The Sun has contacted Lloyds Banking Group for a comment and we’ll update this story as soon as we get one.
Lloyds’ service availability page doesn’t list any problems but it does say that internet banking, app banking and tablet banking was unavailable from 11pm on Saturday April 27 to 5am on Sunday April 28.
Only this morning NatWest’s online banking and app also went down leaving customers locked out of accounts.
One frustrated Lloyds Bank user tweeted: “Can’t log into my online personal or business accounts with Lloyds Bank. Over an hour’s wait to speak to an advisor… guessing it’s not just me?”
Another said: “I can’t login into my Lloyd’s app and it seems it’s an issue this morning for many people on DownDetector. Is system down or something?”
One customer reports being unable to see their online balance. They tweeted: “Is Lloyds mobile banking down ? I am unable to see any balances.”
Someone else tweeted: “Is your mobile banking site down. Appalling service post weekend”.

Will your expenses be covered? If you suffer knock-on costs you should make a note of dates, keep receipts and a log of how much you’ve been left out of pocket. The bank may reimburse you.
What are the alternatives? Visit a branch or try telephone banking if you urgently need to access cash.
How to complain about your bank? Firstly, complain to Lloyds Bank. If the problem is not resolved to your satisfaction after eight weeks then you can complain to the free Financial Ombudsman Service.
The bank also announced plans last autumn to close yet more branches.
