A ‘MYSTIC’ insists a massive earthquake is going to strike at some point TODAY.
The quake could be extremely powerful, reaching at least a magnitude 7 on the Richter scale and trigger a wave of seismic activity throughout the rest of the day, according to Frank Hoogerbeets.
Frank, who runs the earthquake ‘forecast’ website Ditrianun made the warning after noting an apparent change in the lunar cycle.
Using an indicator he developed himself, he claims the Earth has lined up with Venus and Neptune, which makes it the perfect setting for a “seismic increase”.
His Solar System Geometry Index monitors the cycle which he claims influences earthquakes.
Scientists have widely noted that the moon has no influence on seismic activity.
Despite this, Frank said on his website: “After three years of observations, it became clear that some planetary geometry in the Solar System clearly tends to cause a seismic increase, while other geometry does not.”
And noting the current ‘Global Earthquake Forecast’ on his website, he added: “Critical planetary and lunar geometry on the 9th and 10th have the potential of triggering large seismic activity from the 10th to 12th, possibly over magnitude 7.”
Scientists have been quick to disprove Frank’s claims.
John Bellini, a geophysicist from the US Geological Survey said, according to Express.co.uk: “We can’t predict or forecast earthquakes.
“Sometimes before a large earthquake you’ll have a foreshock or two, but we don’t know they’re foreshocks until the big one happens.”
Frank made his prediction on April 9, and earlier today an earthquake rocked Indonesia.
The quake which reached a magnitude 6.8, stuck Sulawesi, forcing locals to flee to higher ground.
But it is important to note that Indonesia lies in the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire.
The area is blighted by earthquakes and volcano eruptions, so it may not be directly linked to Frank’s predictions.
