TOM ELLIS will please Lucifer fans as he appears topless and mysterious in the trailer for the brand new series.
The 40-year-old showcases his washboard abs as he rises from a swimming pool and sips a glass of whisky in the season four comedy-drama clip.
The camera then pans down his naked torso to a 666 tattoo on his hip. It ends with the words “he has risen” appearing on screen.
Lucifer, which was originally aired on Fox in the US before it was cancelled, will return to screens on Netflix on May 8.
In it, Tom – previously married to EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite – will reprise his role as the devilish Lucifer Morningstar.
Lucifer has abandoned Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD.
The return comes as the Miranda actor is about to marry his fiance, Meaghan Oppenheimer.
The couple, who have been dating since 2016, held a wedding shower last month.
In an Instagram snap of him kissing American writer Meaghan Oppenheimer, he gushed: “Thank you so much @casamigos #houseoffriends for hosting our little wedding shower yesterday. And for @lenwiseman for letting us trash his pad.
“And @moppyoppenheimer for looking so beautiful and loving me so good. #happy #hungover.”
Tom married EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite in 2006 in Somerset after meeting the year before through mutual friend James McAvoy.
They went on to have two daughters, Florence, 11, and Marnie, seven, but divorced in 2014 after Tom cheated with one of his co-stars.
Tamzain later hinted that it wasn’t a one-off, as she said: “I wouldn’t not be with my husband over a one-night stand, is all I’ll say.”
After Tom’s wedding post, she uploaded her own inspirational quote which read: “The future, the worry, the regret, the anxiety – these are all mental events that do not have to be part of the difficulty of life; these can be transcended here and now.”
Tamzin then delved even deeper, captioning the snap: “All wasted emotions and feelings. They help nothing and nobody. Eradicating them from daily life is the key.
“I know when I feel anxious or worried it’s easy to get negative. Surround yourself with positivity… #mentalevents.”
Tamzin has moved on with toy boy Tom Child, 27, and moved the actor into her London home last April.
