KATE Beckinsale’s new TV series The Widow hits our screens tonight, with the 45-year-old actress taking on the lead role of Georgia who lives as a recluse in the Welsh countryside.
The star’s real-life couldn’t be further from her ITV character, with Kate living in a Hollywood mansion with her cat Clive, and playing host to several social occasions with her pals.
Despite Kate’s new relationship with toyboy comic Pete Davidson, 25, it is safe to say that Clive is the man of the house, with the pampered puss being treated to a life of luxury in exchange for letting his celeb mum dress him up in adorable costumes.
In one photo, posted to Kate’s Instagram page, the feline looks unimpressed as he poses in a huge pink bow in honour of Valentine’s Day, with another snap showing Clive seeming equally unamused in a dinosaur costume.
Kate’s pet is sitting on his owner’s huge, wooden dining room table, which is surrounded by high-back, black leather chairs.
In the background, fans can see a glimpse of a large, stone fireplace that is decorated with various candles.
The huge French doors that line the room are also in shot, as well as a beanbag and a comfortable cat basket on the floor.
But this isn’t Clive’s only bed in the house, with Kate previously sharing a photo of a vintage suitcase that had been transformed into a cosy bed for her pet to her page.
With Clive snuggling up in the black fur in the snap, Kate captioned the image: “Thank you so much @catnappercatbeds for Clive’s amazing custom vintage suitcase awesome bed . Just to recap this is his delighted face”.
He had also been gifted a huge canvas painting of himself, which Kate showed off in a photo from her kitchen.
The star’s white cabinets and marble-look counter tops are visible in the background, with various products beside the sink.
As well as carrying out photoshoots with her cat in the large kitchen area of her house, Kate also hosts social events – regularly sharing pictures and videos of her friends and family in her home.
More of the white kitchen can be seen in one post, with two huge columns adding an element of class to the space.
Low-hanging lights can also be spotted over the dining table, as well as cabinets with glass doors and various appliances, including a coffee machine.
The room has dark wooden floor that leads in from the hallway, which matches her deep wood front door.
Glass panels frame the door on either side, letting in sunshine and showing off the hedges that line the entrance to Kate’s home.
The staircase to the upper level of the house is to the left of the door, leading to Kate’s bedroom as well as her bathroom that features a white, free-standing bath tub and black and white floor tiles.
The actress rests in a huge, white bed with a marble-look bedside table and white panel wardrobe that matches the theme of the rest of her home.
She has also shared a glimpse of her living room in a snap with ex-boyfriend Michael Sheen, 49.
The pair ended their relationship over 15 years ago but have remained friendly as they co-parent their 20-year-old daughter, Lily.
In the photo, posted over Christmas, Kate is resting on Michael – who is wearing a bunny onesie.
The pair are sharing a white sofa between them, with various books, paperwork and boxes visible in the frame.
The open-plan living area has dark green paint that breaks up the white walls of the star’s hallway and kitchen.
Also over the Christmas period, Kate shared a video of her huge Christmas tree that was placed in front of large, floor-to-ceiling windows with cream curtains.
Using a step-ladder to reach the top of the festive tree, Kate proudly showcased her love for Queen frontman Freddie Mercury by placing a cut-out of the rocker on top of the tree in lieu of a traditional angel or star.
