THE Flat returned with a bang yesterday and Doncaster hosts another cracking card to get the juices well and truly flowing.
With some top action over the sticks at Ascot as well, I’ve scoured the form and come up with a couple of sure-fire certs.
3.45 Willie John – A fascinating contest that includes plenty of classy types who’ll be looking for successful campaigns.
Willie John may be the lowest rated in the race but he almost certainly has the most potential and he can build on his course victory back in August.
He was clearly below-par in France at the end of the season and if he’s progressed over the winter then he’ll serve it up to them under Doncaster maestro Andrea Atzeni.

Ascot 3.55 – Caid Du Lin (Click here to see the best prices and place your bet)
3.55 Caid Du Lin – Loves a strong pace and will hopefully get that with Highway One O One in the line-up.
Won over this course and distance on his penultimate start and can almost certainly win again off just a 4lb higher mark.
It’s a competitive little race but this is a drop in grade and he should put a big performance.
