A COMPANY claiming they could book Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp for after-dinner speaking have removed the Premier League’s big two from their website.
Last week SunSport revealed Champions Speakers had been advertising England skipper Harry Kane and boss Gareth Southgate for after-dinner events.
It then emerged that Manchester City boss Guardiola and his rival at Liverpool Klopp were also being listed as being available to talk.
City told SunSport they were planning to send a cease and desist notice to Champions Speakers, after seeing Guardiola listed.
Klopp was also stated as being bookable, despite the Anfield outfit revealing the German never did paid-for after-dinner events, just free charity Q&As.
But yesterday all trace of the Spaniard and German had been removed.Tottenham had dismissed the notion Kane was involved in the company, while the FA were quick to insist Southgate was completely unaware of them.
Crystal Palace coach Roy Hodgson and former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger were among others listed.
Champions Speakers CEO John Hayes confirmed all four were removed last week, along with Klopp and Guardiola.
Champions’ head of legal Craig Atkinson described SunSport’s interest as “somewhat inexplicable”.
He added: “Naturally, the individuals mentioned on the company website change over time and I do not have on hand an exhaustive list.”
