SEA OF CLASS could make her eagerly-awaited return in the Middleton Stakes at York.
William Haggas’ top filly finished second in the Arc last year and is set for a similar campaign this season.
One of the highest-rated horses last season, the daughter of Sea The Stars notched up victories in both the Irish Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks before going on to run a career best at Longchamp.
With few suitable opportunities until May, it appears the Middleton Stakes at York is set to be her first port of call this season.
Haggas said: “She’s fine. I’m very happy with her at the moment.
“It’s a bit too early to be making any definite plans. There is so much talk about Enable and Almond Eye, I think we’ll just keep things quiet.
“We could start off in May in the Middleton Stakes, but we’ll see.”
