PRINCE William and Prince Harry have always had a close relationship, but now, one relationship guru has explained that Harry no longer “needs” Will’s support, now he has Meghan.
Matrimonial consultant Sheela Mackintosh-Stewart has revealed that although the brothers have a “deep affection”, William, 36, is no longer Harry’s “constant support”.
“With Meghan to rely on, Harry no longer needs the constant support and engagement with his older brother,” Sheela told the Express.
“William likewise doesn’t feel he needs to ‘look after’ his younger brother as much these days.”
The relationship expert also explained that with a marriage and baby on the way, 34-year-old Harry is “committed to becoming the best father and husband he can be”.
And while Sheela believes the pair can “clash” at times, she reveals Harry and Will’s “mutual grief” at the tragic loss of Princess Diana has brought the brothers closer together.
“Having grown up in a unique environment, with the added pressure of dealing with the intense media attention, such shared life experiences inevitably strengthen their bond immensely,” she explained.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that the Queen has given permission for the creation of a new and separate household for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, following their marriage in May last year.
Royal commentator Dickie Arbiter said the split was “always on the cards” and it “wasn’t a case of if but when.”
He told Fabulous Digital: “The fact Harry and Meghan are moving from Kensington Palace, it makes sense to move their team too.
“There isn’t anything sinister about it, it’s just two men evolving into their roles.”
Although the pair are each adapting to a new chapter of their lives, ultimately Sheela believes their parting is a “natural progression of age, maturity and changing personal needs.”
