KERRY Wyatt will be left stunned in Emmerdale next week when her long-term boyfriend Dan Spencer proposes.
But it’s not a welcome proposal as Kerry admits to her daughter Amy that she’s actually fallen out of love with mechanic Dan.
During a night out at the Woolpack pub, Dan is jealous and flies off the handle when a tipsy Kerry flirts with a friend of Dr. Cavanagh’s.
Kerry’s unhappy with Dan’s actions and has one too many, forgetting that she’s promised Amy that she’ll be with her when she tells her little son Kyle that she’s his real mum.
The next day Kerry is hungover and feeling guilty which is when she makes her shock confession to Amy that her feelings for Dan have cooled right off.
But elsewhere Dan is busy shopping for an engagement ring after telling Bob Hope that he needs to find a way to win Kerry back.
Later, Dan – Liam Fox – gets down on one knee in the pub and pops the question to Kerry, but what will she say?
Kerry – who is played by Laura Norton in the ITV soap – recently fled to Belfast to track down missing Amy and convinced her to come back to the village.
Concerned that Cain Dingle wasn’t being a good dad to little Kyle, Kerry broke in Eric Pollard’s house trying to find a way to get in touch with her daughter who fled the village back in 2013.
She then tagged along on Marlon Dingle and Jessie Grant’s honeymoon to Belfast where she found Amy and convinced her to come home.
