MEGAN McKenna’s BFF Amber Turner has hit back after being trolled for posting sexy holiday snaps while her pal mourns Mike Thalassitis.
The Love Island star has been soaking up the sun in the Middle East while Megan gets over Mike’s shocking suicide.
The Towie star captioned one of her snaps: “Happiest in the sun & a bikini.
“Back to Dubai I go! Life’s to short to live with regrets, So love the people who treat you right & forget about the ones who don’t! Time to put me first.”
Some of Amber’s followers have criticised her for being insensitive to Megan.
One wrote: “Good bunch of friends you are showcasing your body and ‘best life’ and not supporting your mate who brought you onto Towie and made you relevant.”
Another said: “Not supporting your friend who brought you into towie?
“Nice friends.. @courtneymegz & @chloejmeadows included.”
But Amber insists they don’t know what they’re talking about.
She wrote: “I’m away on holiday let me enjoy myself you have no idea about anything so get lost.”
Megan broke her social media silence and admitted that she’s in ‘complete shock’ after Mike’s death.
She vowed to grieve in private but was forced to release a short statement about her ex-boyfriend having been bombarded with abuse by trolls on social media.
Sources close to Megan previously told The Sun Online she wanted to grieve away from social media.
But she has felt compelled to write a short statement after she was attacked by cruel trolls saying she “doesn’t care” about her ex.
She shared a short statement that read: “Sorry I haven’t been on social media but I’m in complete shock and trying to come to terms with this.
“I can’t believe I’m even writing this post. My thoughts and prayers are with Mike’s family. Rest in peace Mike x”.
The former Towie star dated Mike, who was found dead over the weekend, on and off for seven months before splitting up for good in August of last year.
She hadn’t spoke publicly about his death on social media for two days, which led to a torrent of abuse from trolls, who suggested she “doesn’t care” with some even blaming her for his death.
But her fans supported her as a row broke out underneath her last image, which was posted two days ago before the news of Mike’s death broke.

Hitting back at the nasty comments, one person wrote: “How dare people have a go at her for not saying anything, I’m sure she is heartbroken and dealing with it in her own way not everything has to be on social media thinking off Megan at this time.
“Can’t imagine how she feels then to get all this on top off it show some respect!!!
“And shows all these nasty people maken comments are the heartless ones!!! , RIP mike gone to soon!”
Another added: “People are vile she has a right to grieve anyway she likes just because she’s famous doesn’t mean she has to plaster her life on here people should have some respect and leave the lass alone.
“Think about how you would feel loosing someone you loved this is the reason people are committing suicide because of the horrible disrespectful clowns
“I just hope the lass is okay and gets through it and has lots of support around her.”
Mike was found dead in a park in Edmonton, North London, on Saturday.
Mike’s pals said he never really got over reality star Megan McKenna.
One friend said: “She was his first true love. The break-up hit him hard and put him in a bad place.
“He battled hard to come through it but that feeling still lingered.”
Megan broke down about their split just a few weeks ago on Celebs Go Dating, admitting she didn’t want to go into details about what had happened.
Speaking to OK! Magazine about their split, Megan said: “I can’t even say why we split. I just feel like we’re both at different point in our lives.
“We both respect each other and we didn’t want it to get nasty or messy.
