STEVE BRUCE is reportedly in shock talks to take his first ever international job.
The former Premier League manager could made a return to the technical area of JAMAICA.
Steve Bruce is reportedly in talks to become Jamaica manager[/caption]According to the Mail, Bruce has held talks with officials from the Caribbean country over taking up the role as head coach.
Jamaica are looking for a new boss after Heimir Hallgrimsson resigned last month.
Hellgrimsson left his post after the country flop out of the Copa America without registering a single point in the group stages.
Steve Bruce, 63, hasn’t managed since he was sacked by West Brom in October 2022.
But the former Manchester United player has had a superb career in management – taking charge of 1,000 games at 11 different clubs.
International management would be a new challenge for Bruce who has never managed outside of England, never mind away from club football.
Bruce has looked after top clubs such as Aston Villa, Sunderland, Hull City and Sheffield United.
While he was in charge of Newcastle United during their Saudi takeover, ultimately getting replaced by Eddie Howe by the new bosses on Tyneside.
