Paul Robinson believes that Archie Gray will be a regular in England’s midfield within the next few years.
Gray has had a decent start to his Spurs career, with the 18-year-old impressing in pre-season and showing glimpses of promise in the two substitute appearances he has had so far in the Premier League.
The teenager will be hoping to become a regular in Tottenham’s midfield before the end of the campaign but it certainly will not be easy, with the likes of Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Sarr ahead of him in the pecking order.
The former Leeds man may perhaps get his opportunities in the Europa League and will have to grab them with both hands.
Ange Postecoglou has been quite complimentary of Gray, telling Football.London last week that he has been impressed with the teenager since his summer switch.
Robinson is certainly a big fan of the midfielder, insisting that he will not just be a regular in the Tottenham side but also in the Three Lions set-up soon.

It is important to remember that Gray and Bergvall are both younger than the likes of Devine, Lankshear, Donley and Phillips.
Fans need to be patient with the pair as we might not see the best of them at the highest level for another season or two.
