Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge says Ange Postecoglou was quite miffed with Yves Bissouma after his recent transgression, claiming that it is now the last chance saloon for the midfielder.
As was well-publicised, Bissouma inexplicably shared a video on social media of him inhaling laughing gas just before the start of the season, with Tottenham thus deciding to suspend the midfielder for their opening game against Leicester.
Postecoglou made it clear that while the Mali international will be given a second chance, he will have to work hard to earn back his trust (Football.London).
Bissouma seemingly did just that as he was back in the starting eleven against Everton and he delivered what was arguably one of his best performances in a Tottenham shirt, which included a fantastic strike from the edge of the box that went in off the crossbar.
Postecoglou praised the former Brighton man for his performance (BBC MOTD) but Bridge insisted that the Australian would not tolerate another misstep from the player.
The journalist said on Last Word on Spurs: “He’s put Bissouma back in, he’s learned his lesson, and believe me, that’s his last chance because they won’t do second or third chances.
“He wasn’t happy, Ange Postecoglou, wasn’t happy at all. And he [Bissouma] needs to knuckle down now.
“So, simple as that, you’ve got a knuckle down, you can’t be doing stuff like that, you’re a role model. So, I think he’s learned. And that was an excellent goal yesterday [Saturday]. But Yves Bissouma, if you’re watching, keep it up.”

Ange is a hard taskmaster and even though he clearly shares a special bond with Bissouma, the Australian is not one for third chances.
One would think that the midfielder has learned his lesson and will not let down his manager again.
