Football Insider reveal that Tottenham Hotspur are set to receive £4m as Ipswich Town have now reached a full agreement with Sunderland over the transfer of Jack Clarke.
We relayed a report from Fabrizio Romano a couple of days ago regarding Clarke’s impending move to Ipswich.
The news was significant for Tottenham as the North Londoners reportedly retained a 25 per cent sell-on clause for the player when they sold him two years ago (GiveMeSport).
It turns out that the former Spurs winger is now on the cusp of returning to the Premier League, with Football Insider revealing that a full agreement has been reached between Sunderland and Ipswich.
The outlet claims that the newly promoted Premier League club have agreed on a deal worth an initial £15 million plus around £3m in performance-related add-ons for the 23-year-old.
The report adds that Ange Postecoglou’s men would be owed nearly £4m of the fee that the Black Cats get for Clarke, with the youngster said to have passed a medical at Portman Road ahead of his move.
Although it is a small fee, it will be a welcome boost to Tottenham’s financial records this summer.

It will be interesting to see how Clarke does in the Premier League as the youngster’s big move to Spurs came almost too early for him.
There is no doubt that he has matured as a player since then so he stands a great chance of forging a Premier League career over the coming years.
