Chris Sutton has backed Tottenham Hotspur to bounce back from the disappointing result against Leicester City by comfortably beating Everton in their first home game of the season.
Ange Postecoglou will want to see a response from his side after they threw away two points at the King Power Stadium on Monday despite completely dominating proceedings for large parts of the encounter.
The Tottenham fans will look forward to getting their first glimpse of Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray at home while Wilson Odobert could also be in line for his Spurs debut.
The home crowd will be expectant in what is undoubtedly a must-win game for Ange Postecoglou’s men, who will want to get their first three points on the board and send a message to the rest of the league.
Sutton believes that even though Everton will sit deep and look to frustrate their opponents, the Lilywhites will have too much firepower for their opponents.
The pundit told BBC Sport about Saturday’s game: “Spurs could have been eight up at half-time against Leicester but didn’t take the chances and that will have been a bit of a sickener, it will have felt like a defeat.
“There are high hopes for Ange Postecoglou in his second season and they made great progress last year. Everton played well for the first 20 minutes against Brighton and are a team who will sit and frustrate the life out of Tottenham and then counter.
“They ran Tottenham close last season but I will say Spurs at home, in front of their own fans, need to be more clinical and will be.”
Prediction: 3-1

No game in the Premier League is a walk in the park these days and Everton will certainly look to get in Tottenham’s faces and make things difficult for the home side.
Postecoglou will be hoping that his side can score an early goal and take the edge off the occasion.
