Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear have both picked up from where they left off in pre-season, with the winger and the striker both finding the back of the net as Tottenham Under-21s overcame Bristol Rovers on penalties in the Football League Trophy.
Both Moore and Lankshear were heavily involved with the first-team during pre-season, with both players demonstrating why there is so much excitement surrounding them at Hotspur Way.
The winger, in particular, is seen as a potential future superstar, with Ange Postecoglou describing the 17-year-old as ‘incredible’ two weeks ago and admitting that he has been thoroughly impressed with the way he has stepped up while with the senior squad (Football.London).
The teenager got on the scoresheet with a fantastic run and finish against Bristol Rovers yesterday. Watch his strike below:
Lankshear had given Tottenham the lead earlier in the game with a thunderbolt from outside the box that nestled into the top corner.
The game ended in a 3-3 draw, with Spurs winning 6-5 on penalties to seal their passage to the next round.

While Ange has confirmed that Moore is staying, the club have to find Lankshear a loan move so that he can test himself at a higher level.
The striker already showed last season that he is too good for Under-21 football.
