Florals for spring? Groundbreaking. Chic garden-themed accessories and ready-to-wear for fall? We’re listening. Loewe and Saks are partnering for exactly that, an exclusive edit of limited-edition Loewe styles.
The edit features five limited-edition Loewe Squeeze Bags. The limited-edition bags include a design with over 20,000 beads sewn onto the bag using a unique technique for a 3-D texture. The different styles include 3-D art designs of greenery — some florals and some lettuce — and even a design with a dog. They’re all complete with a leather handle and gold hardware. The bags are only one part of the launch. Other pieces include floral-printed dresses, beaded biker boots for women, sandals with a unique sculptural heel (something creative director Jonathan Anderson always does well), a bright and colorful printed dress shirt for men, as well as a hoodie and sweatpants with a fluffy-like texture. “With this collaboration, we are delighted to celebrate Jonathan’s unique voice and remarkable creativity, and we look forward to bringing our customers inspiring fashion and experiences they can’t find anywhere else from one of the most iconic names in luxury,” said Tracy Margolies, chief merchandising officer at Saks.
To celebrate the partnership, Loewe is taking over the Saks Fifth Avenue New York flagship store with an experience fitting for the edit — immersive garden installations, a garden-themed display of windows on Fifth Avenue, vegetable sculptures in the store featuring designs from the collection, and a personal favorite, an in-store Loewe juice bar that’ll be open on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7 during the day. A green Loewe juice sounds chic and refreshing; we’ll take one!
The window display with an overload of greenery and large fruits invites a garden to Fifth Avenue. The display and the in-store experience are now open, and the Saks exclusive edit is available to shop in select stores and online.
