The company reminded that travel in women's carriages costs the same as in regular compartments, that is, there is no difference in cost.
"You can purchase a ticket at the station by contacting the ticket office in person. In this case, you need to inform the ticket office employee about the need to select a seat in a women's carriage. The cashier will offer available options for the desired train. All that remains is to select a suitable seat and pay for it. Passengers can also select seats in women's carriages when purchasing online. For example, when purchasing train tickets on the website bilet.railways.kz, you should pay attention to the abbreviation ‘ЖН’ (women's), which indicates that the ticket is sold only for a women's carriage," the press service noted.
Earlier, statistics showed that since the beginning of the year, about 70 thousand women have used the travel service in "women's carriages." This figure has doubled compared to the same period in 2023 (in 2023 - more than 34 thousand women). The service was introduced on some trains in the country in 2021.
