According to QazAvtoZhol, as of 10:20 on January 8, traffic restrictions have been introduced on four highways across five regions.
Almaty region – the "Approach to Almaty-Tau tourist base" road (kilometers 0-15), from Tuzbastau village to Beskainar village.
Zhambyl region – the Almaty-Tashkent-Termiz road (New Kordai pass) (kilometers 159-238), from Otar village to Kainar village.
Kostanay region – the Zhezkazgan-Petropavlovsk road (kilometers 252-339), from the Ulytau region border to Arkalyk city.
Ulytau region – the Zhezkazgan-Petropavlovsk road (kilometers 137-252), from Ulytau village to the Kostanay region border.
