Tengrinews.kz - Employees of the Department of Emergency Situations, who saved passengers of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in Aktau, were awarded in the Mangystau region.
Awards for professionalism, courage, and selflessness in dealing with the aftermath of the air disaster in Aktau were presented to ten rescuers, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the decree of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Akim of the Mangystau region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, presented awards to the participants of the operation. Thus, three representatives of the fire service and the specialized fire department were awarded the Aybyn Order of the 3rd degree named after Rakhimzhan Koshkarbaev: Olzhas Baitore - firefighter-rescuer of Fire Department No. 12; Seribolat Ongar - section commander of Fire Department No. 12; Marlen Sarkenov - senior firefighter-rescuer of the Specialized Fire Department No. 1.

The Erligi ushin medal was awarded to: Kozhabek Allabergenov - paramedic driver of the branch of the Disaster Medicine Center of Mangystau region; Manas Bagitov - rescuer of the operational rescue squad; Alisher Yesstemes - second pilot of Kazaviaspas JSC; Askhat Kudabayev - aircraft commander of Kazaviaspas JSC; Zamanbek Kubaidullayev - paramedic of the branch of the Disaster Medicine Center; Ospan Orazbekov - doctor of the branch of the Disaster Medicine Center.
The Eren enbegi ushin medal was awarded to the psychologist of the Disaster Medicine Center branch, Zhan Yessen.

According to the Akimat of the Mangystau region, the Aybyn Order of the 2nd degree named after Bauyrzhan Momyshuly was awarded to forensic expert of the Mangystau Regional Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aybek Alibaev. The Aybyn Order of the 3rd degree was also awarded to the head of the long-range radio beacon station of military unit 30153 of the Ministry of Defense, Nurlan Botagarin.

The Qurmet Order was presented to the head of the medical point of JSC "International Airport Aktau," Irina Kochergina, and the head of the center of the Mangystau Regional Multidisciplinary Hospital, Bakytjan Koybekov.

The Erligi ushin medal was awarded to emergency medical rescuer of the Mangystau Region Emergency Situations Department, Manas Bauyltov; paramedic of the Mangystau Regional Emergency Medical Station, Timur Kisaev; dispatcher of the Aktau branch of RGP "Kazaeronavigatsia" Dispatch Service, Yaroslav Tolstikov; and master of the Aktau District Electric Networks of JSC "Mangystau Regional Electric Network Company," Nuraly Shopanov.

The Eren enbegi ushin medal was awarded to the psychologist of the Mangystau branch of the Disaster Medicine Center, Zhan Esen; deputy head of the International Airport Aktau Service, Zhumagulov Bekbolat; and expert of the Mangystau Regional Forensic Examination Center of the Ministry of Justice, Eldar Orazgeldiev.
In addition, letters of appreciation from the President were awarded to the employees of fire departments and medical institutions who also played a key role in saving people and mitigating the consequences of the tragedy.
Among the awardees were 68 people, including 24 employees of the Emergency Situations Department and 44 representatives from various sectors of the region. The awards, on behalf of the Minister for Emergency Situations, Major General Chingis Arinov, were presented by the head of the Emergency Situations Department of the Mangystau region, Murat Mukhanov.
The awards serve as recognition of the high professionalism, selflessness, and courage displayed by all participants in the disaster response, who made a significant contribution to the safety and protection of the region's residents through their efforts.
