Tengrinews.kz – The Azerbaijani English-language publication AnewZ has published exclusive photos of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) aircraft that tragically crashed on December 25, 2024, while approaching Aktau.
According to the publication, the images show signs of external interference, including marks from shrapnel, which supports the version voiced by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Azerbaijani government, the aircraft was hit by a missile from the "Pantsir-S" system while approaching Grozny. Minister Rashad Nabiyev confirmed the missile attack, and Ilham Aliyev demanded acknowledgment of guilt, punishment of those responsible, and compensation for the families of the victims.

To recall, the AZAL passenger aircraft, operating a Baku-Grozny flight, crashed on December 25 near Aktau. Of the 67 people on board, 38 died, and 29 survived. Preliminary reports suggest the crash was caused by external physical and technical interference.
