Tengrinews.kz - According to the UN ranking, Kazakhstan has entered the top 25 countries in terms of e-government development. Kazakhstan ranks 24th out of 193 nations. This is mentioned in a report by the 24.kz channel.
At the same time, Kazakhstan ranked in the top ten for one of the key indicators of the ranking – the online services index – with a slight gap from Japan.
The best result in the CIS after Kazakhstan is Armenia (53rd place). Russia is in 56th place, Uzbekistan in 59th, and Kyrgyzstan in 89th. South Korea leads the ranking with the highest possible index of 1, while Eritrea is at the bottom with an index of 0.
Today in Kazakhstan, one can, for example, submit an application for marriage registration, document changes, driver’s licenses, tax and other declarations, and real estate transactions online.
It is also possible to start a business and access various other services. The e-government platform is continuously improving and transitioning to its third version. The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry promises that the new eGov will be significantly more stable and user-friendly, including with the use of AI technologies.
